These signs are intented for use flat against the wall or on the corner of offices or factory buildings. As a general rule, the horizontal logo is to be shown on buildings. Should this be unsuitable for practical reasons or with regard to exposure, the vertical version may be used only positioned out from the wall as illustrated below. This sign may be suspended protruding from a wall or be fixed flat on a wall.
Signs with integral lighting are based on an aluminium box section adapted to the shape of the logotype.
The box section is to be painted in Jotun grey. Jotuns logotype is to be produced in foil in the correct corporate colours on acrylic plastic.
In countries where two-language version of the logo is required, the two logo versions must never be placed close together, but must be placed at a good distance from each other, preferably at either end of the frontage.
